River Ridge Soaps FAQs

  • What are the ingredients in River Ridge Soap?
All River Ridge soaps have seven ingredients: that have been developed over 25 years to create a highly moisturizing bar that lasts an extended time. Olive Oil- adds moisturizing properties and hardens the bar Palm Oil- the palm oil we use comes from a supplier that's part of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil Coconut Oil- this is what makes the bar a cleaning machine and creates bubbles in the lather. Sodium Hydroxide- this electrified salt turns oils into a soap molecule. Soap molecules have dirt-attracting properties and are very slippery. So the dirt just washes away. Cocoa Butter- we use all-natural cocoa butter that has not been deodorized. It adds hardness and moisturizing properties to the soap. Shea Butter- adds moisturizing goodness to every bar, creating a rich lather. Castor Oil- Castor helps keep the lather Each variety of River Ridge Soap then adds essential oils, natural colorants, fragrance oils, or cosmetic grade micas to color and scent the soaps.
